Virginia huddleston, MBA, CFE
As executive director of the Bayou La Batre Housing Authority, Virginia Huddleston has overall responsibility for management and operation of Safe Harbor. Originally from Louisiana, she relocated to Dauphin Island, Alabama, in 2005, one month before Hurricane Katrina made landfall.
Virginia holds an MBA from Louisiana State University - Shreveport and a BS in Business Forensics from Franklin University. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
As maintenance supervisor, Darryl Wilson is responsible for the oversight, scheduling, planning, diagnosis, quality, and budgeting of all maintenance and facilities needs.
Darryl is a retired police captain. In 2009, Darryl was named State of Alabama Law Enforcement Officer of the Year of the Southern District of Alabama. In 2011, he was nominated for the Organized Drug Enforcement Case of the Year. He has served on the DEA Task Force, INS Violent Gang Task Force, and Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.
